BUILD THE GAME WITH US

We have wanted to go back to our roots of old school D&D players to create an epic PC role-playing game adventure for years. A unique RPG, to stand among big guns in the market, with a unique take for the genre. Back in the days, it was simply not possible for a small team like ours, thinking about a project like this. Then something happened and with the development of engines and tools, we decided to embark in this epic journey. For years, it's been almost impossible to get funding through traditional methods for a game like this even if back in 2019, we thought to have found a great deal with a brand new publishing label willing to help us. Fast forward: this publisher is not publishing game anymore and we had to face many huge problems during the development: a sort of NG+ in the real world, with a pandemic going on and many other problems we've decided to leave behind once and for all. The great thing about crowdfunding is that we can go directly to the people who love to play RPGs as much as we love to make them but as a micro team and considering on-going things, we've decided to start small, relying on our amazing community. Plus, we don’t have to make compromises with a publisher or third parties anymore. We make the development decisions, we market the game, and we don't have to answer to anyone but you.

You know we are super active on our social channels and communicate almost real time with our community, we can be more transparent with development and give you an inside look to what goes on day-to-day with our micro dev team. We want to give you a behind the scenes look at the game's development, and we have fun stuff planned like dev blogs, web broadcasts, dev chats, and more. The development process of Alaloth has equipped us with efficient pipelines and a real understanding of the scope of what we have in mind. We plan to deliver the 1.0 in 2024 but since we aim to significantly extend the game’s features and increase the overall scale of the adventure, we might find out that certain parts of the game require more time to be polished. Our desire to provide the best experience to our players and the results of testing may delay the final release during the year. The good part is that this should also mean the game ends up being bigger and better than currently planned, as it is already happened with the EA phase, with almost 10x contents delivered against the original schedule which has been completed in nearly 6 months after launch. Since December 2022 on, we've just added new contents adding nearly 50 hours of gameplay to an already massive campaign [5 Major Updates, 75 patches so far].

Plamen is a whole new world, built around 400.000 words, 400+ NPC, 260+ locations, 200+ quests and much more contents we've added on the go. Alaloth is probably the biggest indie RPG out on the market and for sure a unique one, blending old and new: "Baldur's Gate and Dark Souls had a baby" is the most common feedback we've received by players and press and it reflect the original vision we had of an hybrid game heavily inspired by great classics like BG [world building, isometric view, lore] and modern action soulslike [skill based combat, real time action, hard to master]. We’ve designed the game to have a flexible budget and scope, and we have a list great stuff we can add into the mix. Additional money we raise will go straight into the game as it always been since EA launch, to add new levels, companions, NPCs, features, and even entirely new parts of the world which will add hours and hours to the journey. A lot of people asked to support us through donations during the past months, we tought that giving something back would have been way better. We don't have the capacity to handle a Kickstarter or any crowdfunding campaign right now. That's why we thought about Keepers: you can shape the future of the kingdoms with us!
