COMMUNITY MANAGER [remote]

Gamera Interactive is on the hunt for a Community Manager to join the team. As a Community Manager you will:

• Create and execute social media strategies both for corporate and games
• Grow and manage their social media channels and player communities
• Develop and maintain relationships with community influencers
• Grow the games social media followings, and engage with video game consumers
• Maximize social media reach and influence
• Track and report consumer sentiment across company social media channels and use data to inform recommendations
• Work with the team to create content that engages fans and potential new customers
• Take care of website management for our brand new unannounced title

We're looking for someone who has:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, or a related field
• 1-3 years of community management or social media communications experience, preferably for a major consumer products brand
• Have created and executed a community-focused social media campaign
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a portfolio of published professional work; ideally in a variety of mediums including long-form and social media
• Experience and practical knowledge of all major social media and video distribution platforms, and supporting applications
• Proven ability to work both in a team setting, as well as independently drive campaign efforts as needed - Solid understanding of video games and the video game landscape
• A love for RPG games & old school isometric stuff
• English language fluency (written/spoken)
• A positive attitude, enthusiasm for your job and responsiveness to any situation

It’s a bonus if you have:

• Interest in and experience being a key contributor to product marketing campaigns
• Demonstrable client-service experience
• Experience working in small focused teams
